Extension - Disclosure concert

I will be attending a Disclosure concert. It will give me a up close and first hand view of their performances and will be a educating experience. As they are our original artist, I can view the lighting, props, special effects and performance they give. It will enable me to give a great analysis of the similarities and differences in comparison to our own music video. It will also enable me to learn more about the original artist in terms of the songs they play and the type of people who attend which gives me a clear insight on the audience.

I intend to create another blog post after I attend the concert to display what I have experienced and to portray more ideas.

evaluation of today

 Today we have looked through our footage and arranged the clips we will be using at the beginning of the video, we have realised that we do not have enough establishing shots, and therefore will be taking out the camera to film some more shots. 

these screenshots show the opening clips we plan on using, we have impotted them into fincal cut pro and trimmed and edited them.

My feedback has shown me that my grade has improved well from an d to an A, i just need to follow the given advice to improve my grade to an A.

I will continue to create my own blog posts as extensions to display my own initial ideas. I will also go over any blogs that I believe could be improved and improve any spelling mistakes.

Extension - Ideas for finalised digipack

Digi-pack ideas.

These two images of our artist Monica were taken during the first day of filming at two different locations in Kings Cross. We choose to take pictures in these locations, not only to display evidence of our filming and locations, but as ideas for images to use for the digi-pack. I believe that the pictures are effective as they display the synergy format we chose to use of the infamous Adidas brand and Monica is also wearing a white outfit in each which links to the title of the song 'White Noise'.

The first image displays Monica standing on a water fountain which displays white lighting. We went through great effort to place Monica in the fountains alongside while using a camera to take pictures. The white fountains links to the concept of our video of using a combination of different light and illuminating colours. Also the pose Monica is doing with her hands is a urban pose which links to our genre of House Music as representing a urban scene. I also believe that the white lighting in the fountains highlight Monica's clothing more and creates a great effect in the image.

The second image also presents our synergy clearly of Adidas. I believe this is another great idea for the front of the CD cover as Monica is standing in front of a location which displays LED lighting. It links to a location we used for a base track.

I belive this is a effective image to use for the back of our CD cover. We took several pictures in this location but I belived this picture was the best to use. Again our synergy is conveyed but also, Monica is alone in the picture which makes her the main focus and also her smile portrays to the audience a sense of happiness and fun which we went to denote in our overall music video.
